STREET FIGHTER 25TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION UNBOXING

25 years of fighting in the streets and Capcom still finds ways to impress fans with this extensive collection of the Street Fighter series.  Included in this collection:

- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (w/all costume DLC) and Street Fighter X Tekken (w/all Character DLC and Swap Costume DLC)

- Two Disc Blu-Ray Collection of a Street Fighter Documentary, Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV Anime Films, Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie as well as the entire Street Fighter animated series.

- 11 disc set of Street Fighter Soundtrack Music spanning the entire series including Fan remixes and Original Fan Created Songs inspired by Street Fighter games

- Full Size Martial Arts Belt replica of Ryu’s Belt with “Furinkazan” in Kanji Lettering

- 64 page Art book filled with Street Fighter fanart from around the world

- 8 inch tall Ryu statue with the character in mid-Shoryuken with a lighted base

The entire collection comes packaged in a specially designed chest that is soft to the touch with a black velvet material over the entire chest and silver Kanji lettering and a silver 25th anniversary logo.

It’s a well constructed box with compartments for everything to fit inside neatly.  The martial arts belt replica is perfect for fans who want to cosplay as Ryu or for making a really neat display for their favorite fighting game.

The art book is filled to the brim with impressive fan art that we’ll feature on it’s own in a special post later.  The highlight of the collection for me is the statue.  It’s highly detailed with Ryu in an iconic move captured with lighted effects and exactly what a fan would want to display in their home, office, mancave, etc.

The soundtrack collection is really nice especially seeing Capcom include fan remixes and original created songs to show how much fan love there is behind this classic series.  The additional bonus of getting the animated series, films and documentary is just icing on top of this delicious cake for fans to enjoy after spending time playing all the games.

It’s an epic collection that sets the bar for celebrating a video game series anniversary the right way and I hope other publishers take note for the future.  The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection is available in retail stores and online right now.  It’s $149.99 and is available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
